From cards to puzzles, board games to word games, drop by the library for a friendly challenge.

In the spirit of International Gaming Month, we're celebrating the educational, recreational, and social value of games in November! Come try out a variety of collaborative board games which build problem-solving skills and teamwork.
 
Some of the games being featured are: 
 

  • Forbidden Island 
    A cooperative board game for 2-4 players. Players try to find four treasures on a dangerous island and return to a helicopter to escape before the entire island sinks!

  • Forbidden Desert 
    Players work together to search for parts for a ship in order to escape the dry desert!  If players get too thirsty, or the desert becomes impossible to move through, it’s game over.

  • Mysterium 
    A cooperative game of Clue with a twist! One player acts as a ghost who cannot talk and gives clues to other players to solve the murder.

Fergus Branch is located in downtown Fergus by Templin Gardens. This historic Carnegie building features three floors and houses Library Administration, as well as a rentable meeting room, Wi-Fi, and computer access.
