The Red Cross Stay Safe! course offers basic safety and first aid skills. Participants will learn about being safe without the direct supervision of an adult. Ages 9-13, $55.00 course fee.

This course will focus on topics including the importance of responsibility and respect, following safety rules when on your own, and responding to unexpected situations. A course fee of $55.00 is due to the instructor on the day. Cash, debit or credit is accepted at arrival. Participants should bring a lunch, snacks and water bottle. The suggested age group for this course is 9-13 years, but younger participants may register at the discretion of parents. Please note, a minimum registration number must be met in order to run this course.

About the branch

Aboyne Branch is located in the Wellington Place complex, next to the Wellington County Museum and Archives. It also shares the building with Children's Early Years. Resources include a private study room, rentable meeting room, 3D Printer, Wi-Fi, and computer access.
