Join us on a creative quest to enjoy some hands-on fun.
Do you need a tiny sidekick for your summer adventures? Maybe a plushie pal to keep in your backpack, join you at tea parties, or bravely guard your pillow at night?
With safety needles, colorful thread and a rainbow of soft felt, each participant will learn basic sewing skills—like how to thread a needle, make simple stitches, and (most importantly) how not to sew their plushie to their shirt.
At the end of the workshop, every young artist will walk away with a brand-new handmade friend and some sewing skills to boot.
Please register using your child's name only. Parents or guardians who use their library card to register can change the name of the registrant to the child and the card will remain linked.
Adult accompaniment is required for children under 8 years.
