The Red Cross babysitting basics course helps prospective babysitters learn the skills they need. Ages 11-15, $65.00 course fee.

This full day course emphasizes safety rules, responding to emergencies, and developing leadership skills. A course fee of $65.00 is due to the instructor on the day. Cash, debit or credit is accepted at arrival. Participants should bring a lunch, snacks and water bottle. The suggested age group for this course is 11-15 years, but younger participants may register at the discretion of parents. Please note, a minimum registration number must be met in order to run this course.

Palmerston Branch is located in central Palmerston. This historic Carnegie building formerly housed a theatre on its second floor. Resources include Wi-Fi, computer access, and an Inspiration Lab for STEM and Makerspace activities.
